Since October 2021, our association is in contact with the Secours Populaire Français du Bas-Rhin concerning a humanitarian project in the commune of Comasagua in El Salvador. The FPS has been active in El Salvador for several years and has helped to create a cooperative in Comasagua: La Canasta Campesina. The main activity of this association, composed mainly of women and young people, is the making of peasant baskets.

ENGEES students will help the cooperative with their activities. The cooperative will bring irrigation knowledge to the students which will be useful for their teaching. The aim of this partnership is to provide long-term assistance on water management issues in this region.

At the beginning, the action of the association TR - World was to provide a workforce to the cooperative for the period of July. However, we hope to find experts who can conduct a study to address water management issues in the region.
